Sonnenberg's Market & Deli: Fresh Meats and Superior Service in Spokane

It is a great store with a large selection of meats. I stopped by and got a sandwich for lunch, and I was not disappointed. The employees were helpful with the meats and sausages I was purchasing.

Great place to shop for fresh meat. Their deli is average. What I really miss about this shop is no longer bbq ribs. However, I think that the Prime rib is too expensive. The chicken is moderate good cut. And most of their poor beef products are great. Try their sausage. It is wonderful.

Sonnenbergs is one of my long time favorite butcher shops. You better avoid long lines at the meat counter go on days that aren't widely used paydays for most people. The 1st, 5th, 15th, and 20th of any month will likely have you queueing up for a few but they're highly efficient and the line moves rapidly. The meat boxes are even more reasonable than their everyday by the pound prices but you're gonna eat a few hotdogs in least expensive ones. I'll add that as far as hot dogs go, these ones are better than anything you're going to find mass produced. If you've never had a landjaeger, I highly recommend trying one. Now for the parts I'm less thrilled about. They're on Sprague in a fairly dodgy part of town although it's less so than it was a few years ago. Parking is fairly limited but if there isn't anything open at the curb, there is usually at least one or two open spots in their parking lot behind the store. The staff is always polite but don't expect much in the way of chit chat. They're almost always hopping busy and honestly look like they could make good use of an extra 15 minute break or two. They usually have the best prices on ribeyes in town with the caveat of having to purchase the entire package although they'll cut and wrap it for you. Keep in mind you get what you pay for and don't expect the same level of tenderness you would get from 60 day dry aged prime.

I needed Fat for my venison hamburger and Samantha and Levi went above and beyond not just once but several times. I highly recommend everyone to try them out. Great selection of meat. Thank you so much.

I Love that little store. The Staff are always friendly & proudly display your choice cuts to you before carefully wrapping them. Making sure they meet your approval. They carry the finest steaks in town. Among other local products & necessities. You can never go wrong stopping there to pick up dinner.

Great prices for the meats. My husband and I always get our meats at Sonnenberg market and no where else. It's freshly cut and no adjectives no msg that you get at Walmart, Winco, and Safeway.

Staff great every time I go in! Price great always have what I need. I walked in last week and asked for whole ham , brisket, prime rib. They had everything I needed! Willing to get the weights as close to what I wanted. With a smile on their face! I cannot say enough. Quality I of products are top notch!

The best steaks in tge area...and sausage already cooked and ready to eat. Staff are helpful and busy! Just smile and be patient because they are going to give you a product worth waiting for! Store is old and you won't care. Great staff. Great steaks!
